ΙSTIBEI INTERNATIONAL YOUTH MOUNTAIN BIKE FESTIVAL 2024

Sports Club “O PODILATIS” in cooperation with Municipality of Sintiki, and after having the permission of the Hellenic Cycling Federation (HCF), organizes intercollegiate XCC cycling races by the name “ISTIBEI INTERNATIONAL YOUTH MOUNTAIN BIKE FESTIVAL XCC” in the categories: U15 men and women, U13 men and women, U11 men and women, U9 men and women U7 men and women.
Race will take place in Neo Petritsi of the Municipality of Sintiki on Sunday 8 September 2024.
Catogories:
U15 men and women, U13 men and women, U11 men and women, U9 men and women U7 men and women.
The race is included in the racing program of the HCF, and gives points in the individual and club classification of the HCF.

The final programme will be validated at the end of the registration period
Venue / Race Course:
The route starts and finishes at the central square of N. Petritsi, 1900m long.
Registration:
All athletes who belong to H.C.F. and have an active card for 2024 or a UCI card are eligible to participate.
Each club is entitled to participate with an unlimited number of athletes.
Participation:
Clubs can submit their entries according to the entry form which can be found here.
They will be accepted until 31/08/2024 at [email protected].
Entry Fee:
Categories U15 men and women, U13 Men and women, U11 men and women, U9 men and women:
15€ per race and 25€ for both races of the weekend
No entry fee for U7 category.
Entry fee must be paid until Monday 31/8 in the bank account

Secretariat:
Secretariat will be opened during the entire duration of the games.
The secretariat will open at 09:00, for team representative to deliver the athletes UCI cards and receive the numbers for his/hers team to race for all athletes of theirs team and not one by one.
During riders registration all team managers must present valid UCI licenses for their delegation and riders passports if needed or asked by the Commissaires.
Athletes id cards will be retained until the end of the games. Club’s representative must return the numbers of all athletes of the club to the secretariat immediately after the end of the race in order for their clubs athletes ids to be returned to him/her.
Athletes, must sign the Race Sheet, up to 20 minutes before the start of their category, demonstrating their UCI id, with the technical control of their equipment having being forth filled. In order for the athletes to sign they must be in their racing clothes and numbers placed.

Rules:
Race will be run according to the UCI and HCF regulations.
For any category merge or bicycle equipment the circulars of the Cycling Federation will be taken into account.
– Each athlete with his/her participation in the race declares responsibly that he/she accepts the regulations of the technical guide and that he/she is completely healthy and ready (physically and mentally) for the participation in this race, understanding all the possible risks arising from his/her participation in it. Athletes participate at their own risk and acknowledge that the organizers, as well as any person working and involved in any way in the organization of this race, have no responsibility whatsoever towards him for any injury, damage or loss of personal equipment or objects, before, during or after the race.
– All participants in any form, riders, coaches, attendants, spectators and all those involved in the organization, accept that their personal information, the results of the races with their performances, photos, videos, be given to press, social media etc, and to be processed by
the organizer of the match and its co-organizers.
– Each athlete participates at his/her own risk in terms of physical integrity and personal sports equipment.
– For anything not provided for by the HCF regulations or by the cup regulations, the Competition Committee of the race makes the final decision.
Equipment:
All athletes are required to wear cycling clothing (helmet – special cycling shoes, etc.) in accordance with the regulations and circulars.

Will be decided in the Technical Meeting

1st winner, Cup, Gold Medal
2nd winner Silver Medal
3rd Bronze Medal.
4rth-5th-6th Diploma
Award Ceremony:
Will take place in place and time that will be announced by the organizers.
Antidoping control:
In case of doping control procedures by National Anti-doping Agency, an announcement will be communicated each day according UCI, NF and National Anti-doping Agency regulations.
Penalties:
Penalties will be applied as described by the UCI rules.

Participation declaration::
By participating in the race, the rider accepts the content and conditions of this competition notice.
All participants in any form, riders, coaches, attendants, spectators and all those involved in the organization, accept that their personal information, the results of the races with their performances, photos, videos, be given to press, social media etc, and to be processed by the organizer of the match and its co-organizers.
Unforeseen matters settlement :
For anything not provided for in this technical guide a decision will be taken on the spot by the Competition Committee. The athletes participate in the races at their own risk and the organizer has no liability for any possible accident as well as damage or loss of racing material, clothing, etc. The organizers have the right to reduce categories according to the Regulations of the EEA and to modify the race programme and the route in case of anything that makes it not possible and safe for the competitors to access all parts of the route.
Short Track (XCC)
1,4km in to a specially designed route according to the needs of the race, without altitude differences
